Welcome to our new family blog. We should have started this long ago but better late than never! We are excited to be able to share some of the special moments of our family life with you. We will do our best to keep this up to date from here on. As all our lives get more and more busy, it can be increasingly difficult to stay in touch. Technology can be a great blessing and we think this will enable us to be able to include you in the events of our family life as they transpire rather than the intermittent catch up of the past during the brief times our paths may cross.
We also recognise that this will be an effective way to keep a family journal/history - complete with pictures and all! How special! As any of you who attempt to keep a journal know - hand writing a daily, weekly, even monthly journal is no easy task. Especially with a couple cute kids in the mix whose attention seeking is simply irresistible.
A small disclaimer to any who opt to follow our blog - despite the many perfect looking pictures and happy loving experiences we will share - to give you comfort - our kids are as rowdy, at times disobedient, at times frustrating, at times causing us to need to run away for respite - as yours. But isn't that the fun of it? So to is our marriage - wonderfully, sweetly imperfect. Debates, disagreements, and occasional offences are a healthy part of what makes us work. But you all know that as you deal with that yourselves, no need to bore you in that department. The make-ups are the best part anyway right? :)
If you insist though, I will post the occasional picture of Vanessa dearly in love with me because I follow directions so well.
